Students in the
Marine Genomic Laboratory are encouraged to develop independent research that
focuses on Functional Genomics, Population Genetics, or Evolutionary Analysis. This research should be related to the research resources available in our
laboratories. Our goal is to train
students to go from someone who read scientific writings to those who doing cutting-edge
research and writing scientific
